When it comes to managing a business, there are so many questions. Helping to provide answers to some of these issues is the Success in 90 workshop series provided by the Blount County Chamber of Commerce.

As human resources become one of the most important divisions of a company’s culture, these 90-minute sessions, open to everyone, are catered to meet the needs of current and next generation HR professionals and small business owners. Most workshops include continuing education credits.

“These specialized classes tackle current issues like managing employee expectations, new rules for employee accountability, managing multiple generations, diversity, equity and inclusion,” said Blount Partnership Vice President Tammi Ford.

Program chair Melissa Spangler of KEPA Consulting added, “With so many updates and changes to state and federal HR policies, we felt it was necessary to make sure the business community is kept up-to-date on these changes while answering questions and providing possible solutions.”

Held at the Blount Partnership, 201 S. Washington St., in Maryville. These free workshops for business managers, owners and operators aim to discuss current human resource topics, brainstorm ideas, discuss problems and possibly offer solutions.
