Tell me more about your business. R-Edge Commercial Funding, LLC exists to bridge the gap between business owners and their aspirations. We recognized the challenges that entrepreneurs and real estate investors face when seeking financing from traditional banks and financial institutions. Often, their unique stories, potential, and growth opportunities get lost in the rigid frameworks of traditional lending. Our company was born out of the desire to change this narrative. We firmly believe that every business owner and real estate investor deserves the chance to realize their dreams, regardless of the challenges they might encounter in securing financing. Our purpose is to provide an alternative avenue – a path paved with creativity, collaboration, and unwavering commitment.
How did you get started? After having spent the entirety of my career in the financial services industry, I witnessed first-hand the challenges and struggles faced by businesses and investors when seeking the traditional forms of financing due to stringent lending criteria and a lack of creative solutioning. There was a very clear need for innovative options to support business entrepreneurs in this space. This realization fueled my desire to make a meaningful impact and change the narrative. I had developed over my career, deep connections within the financial and real estate industries. These relationships allowed me to gain insights into the challenges faced by potential clients and to craft a comprehensive approach that could truly bridge the gap.
What is your background? My journey to acquiring the background and skills necessary to run R-Edge Commercial Funding, LLC involved a combination of formal education, practical experience, networking, mentorship, ongoing learning, and a passionate commitment to making a positive impact in the financial services industry. As I grew in my career, I developed skills in leadership, strategic planning, marketing, communications, financial planning and risk management which all serve me well when running my own business.
Who is your biggest supporter? Throughout my career, my family has unquestionably been my most steadfast supporters and advocates. As a devoted wife and mother to four wonderful children, I am intimately aware of the delicate balance needed to successfully navigate a demanding career while cherishing my family time. But my family has consistently stood by my side, ready to step in and step up whenever the need arises. They provide me with amazing moral support – reminding me of my value and the positive impact I’m making. I believe that its important to have a network of support that extends beyond professional circles. I don’t believe that success is achieved in isolation. Instead, it is nurtured by the bonds of encouragement, shared values, and a deep sense of purpose.
