The Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) named Bryan Daniels, Blount Partnership president/CEO, as its Chamber Executive of the Year at its annual meeting held today in Nashville.

The Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives, a statewide chamber professional association, recognizes the quality of chamber of commerce executives in Tennessee and identifies the most effective chamber professional, as indicated by nomination, who has made a significant difference in a local Tennessee Chamber.

Criteria evaluated includes professional experience, training and education, ethical conduct in dealing with peers, professionalism, leadership and the desire to advance the profession of chamber management.

“I am honored and humbled the leaders in our state have given me and my family this recognition,” said Daniels. “Our community is so lucky to have such passionate supportive elected officials, volunteers and staff involved in the Blount Partnership that make our community and our part of the state a great place. I am so blessed to be here at this moment and time as the president and to have the support of my family who make sacrifices for me every day which allow me to be passionate about my community and career.”

Daniels, who became president/CEO of the Blount Partnership 2010, began his career with the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development before serving 10 years as the Partnership’s executive vice president where he managed Blount County’s economic development efforts.

“Bryan Daniels has done an excellent job as CEO of the Blount Partnership and is very deserving of the TCCE Executive of the Year award,” said Bryan Cable, general manager of the Hilton Knoxville Airport and chair of the Blount Partnership’s joint operating committee. “His leadership and vision has been vital to the success of the Partnership which has become a model that other communities are now implementing. Bryan is driven and always handles his responsibilities in a professional manner. It is a pleasure to work with Bryan and I look forward to watching the Blount Partnership continue to grow and succeed under his leadership.”

TCCE was organized to enhance the professional growth and development of Chamber executives, staff and volunteers in the state of Tennessee. It works to foster the professional development of Chamber of Commerce executives and staff, enhance status of Chambers of Commerce in the state and nationally and provide a communication link between Chamber of Commerce staffs in Tennessee.
