Meredith Liemohn, owner/broker of Smoky Mountain Recreation Properties LLC, announced that the recreational real estate marketing network with which she is affiliated, Cabela’s Trophy Properties, has been purchased by Sports Afield, now called Sports Afield Trophy Properties.

Sports Afield magazine is the oldest continuously published outdoor magazine in the country, having operated for 127 years. The magazine reaches 50,000 outdoorsmen and also airs programs on the Sportsman Channel, reaching 31 million households, plus many other marketing venues.

Smoky Mountain Recreation Properties serves the needs of recreational buyers and sellers in 23 counties in the East Tennessee area from the Georgia line to the Virginia line.

Liemohn, who is one of only two brokers in Tennessee that participates with SATP, has been helping people who have dreamed of owning or selling land and homes in East Tennessee for more than 29 years, and she is able to apply the benefit of Sports Afield’s outdoor marketing expertise to the properties she represents in the program.

Smoky Mountain Recreation Properties represents waterfront and water access properties, mountain homes, hunting lodges and resorts, equestrian, farms and ranches, recreationally oriented business and commercial opportunities, and income properties directly associated with recreational properties.

Liemohn said that even in these still difficult economic times, recreational properties are still in demand worldwide.

Liemohn is still a shareholder in Town & Country Realtors of E. TN Inc. and her office is located in the Town & Country office in the south end of Foothills Mall near Sears in Maryville.
