Alcoa, Tenn. – Hickory Construction, Inc. was recently recognized as a Green Achiever by the GoGreenET Green Business Recognition Program.

The program highlights Knoxville-area businesses and nonprofit organizations that have made their operations more environmentally friendly. All Green Achievers were announced in the May issue of the Greater Knoxville Business Journal, the program’s sponsor.

GoGreenET.com is an online resource created to aid East Tennessee businesses and organizations in making their operations — whether a factory or office setting — more sustainable. Nearly 90 East Tennessee companies – known as Green Achievers — have participated in GoGreenET’s Green Business Recognition program since its inception two years ago.
