Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center has announced two opportunities to see the Smokies play at home in August, on Saturday, Aug. 17 versus the Chattanooga Lookouts and again on Saturday, Aug. 24 versus the Mobile BayBears. Both games begin at 6:15 p.m. at Smokies Park.

Tickets are $8.50, and free shuttle transportation is available to the first 64 people to purchase tickets for one or both of the two games. Buses will depart from two locations – the Heritage Center (3:30 p.m. departure) and the Blount County Library (4:15 p.m. departure) – on both dates.

Tickets are available at www.smokiesbaseball.com/grouplinkwith the access information below (tickets may not be ordered through the Smokies main website):

User Name: heritage center (note space in-between words)
Password: smokies2013 (no space in-between words)

When ordering online, ticket buyers will need to designate whether or not they plan to take the bus and whether or not they want a meal package (additional $6 for adults or $5 for children). If ticket buyers happen to miss the bus or choose to drive, tickets will be left at the stadium’s Will Call window under their name.

While only 64 tickets per game will be available for bus riders, additional tickets may be purchased at the same price but may not be in the same seating section, and ticket buyers will be required to provide their own transportation.

For further information, call the Center at 865-448-0044.
