Three Day OSHA Class offered at Pellissippi State

The Blount Partnership in conjunction with Pellissippi State are offering a three-day 10-hour OSHA class March 12-14 from 8 a.m.-noon at the Pellissippi State Blount County Campus located at 2731 W. Lamar Alexander Pkwy., Friendsville, TN 37737.

This course provides successful participants with three days of information on current topics on occupational safety and health as enforced by Tennessee OSHA.

 

An OSHA authorized trainer will conduct the course with 10 hour course completion cards awarded from the OSHA National Training Institute to each person successfully completing the course.

 

Areas covered include, but are not limited to: Walking and Working Surfaces; Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, and Fire Protection; Personal Protective Equipment; Hazard Communication; Blood Borne Pathogens; Machine Guarding; Materials Handling; Fall Protection; Safety and Health Program; Electrical (Lockout/Tagout); Introduction to OSHA.
