While physically located at Blount Memorial Hospital’s physician office building, they are a freestanding provider group. In addition to this distinction, they hope to communicate their fresh, all-encompassing approach to geriatric care.
As the only group in Blount County specializing in geriatric medicine, BSCP wants patients to understand their comprehensive style of practice. Their new logo, shaped like an umbrella with six small circles around it, symbolizes the type of care patients receive. Its circular nature represents continuity of care, and the umbrella represents the all-encompassing nature of the practice.
Typically in the past, a patient’s primary care physician cared for a patient in the office, hospital, or nursing facility, ensuring that while the place of treatment was changing, an advocate who understood the patient’s medical needs could make this transition as smooth as possible. BSCP has revived this lost art in medical practice. Because of Blount Senior Care Partners’their close affiliation with Blount Memorial Hospital, they can provide thise same type of comprehensive care.
