Blount Partnership President/CEO Bryan Daniels announced that Tammy Bolt has joined his staff in the position of event coordinator. Bolt is charged with overseeing all Blount Partnership community events while managing outside festivals at the Townsend Visitor Center. She is also tasked with recruiting recurring events to be held on the expanded visitor center grounds as well as the Hilton Knoxville Airport Conference Center.
“Having Tammy join our staff is a huge step for where we are headed in making sure our events keep growing,” said Daniels. “Her knowledge of the area and event acumen benefits us as we add more events in the space in Townsend and the conference center at the airport.”
Bolt joins after six years at the Gatlinburg Convention and Visitors Bureau and Chamber of Commerce where she filled roles as event manager and membership manager during her tenure.
Prior to working in Gatlinburg, Tammy and her husband owned a coffeehouse in Frankenmuth, Mich. She has experience in business management, hospitality, customer service, church ministry, and been involved in the theater.
