CATALOG UPDATE

New Brake Hose Fittings Coming Soon

In response to market trends and customer inquiries, BrakeQuip will be adding over 75 new part numbers to our crimp fitting selection by the end of the year. These fittings are already being manufactured. We will announce the full specifications and price for each fitting as soon as they arrive from the factory.

HFB158 and HFB159

Since our August announcement that HFB158 and HFB159 would be discontinued, we have seen renewed interest in both fittings. Based on this input, we are securing a small stock of both and we will re-evaluate whether we should continue to carry them over the long term.

As always, BrakeQuip welcomes feedback on fittings for which you believe there is a solid demand.

BrakeQuip Adds Three New Team Members

Join us in welcoming these new members of the BrakeQuip team.

Nick Dorfer — Inside Sales Representative / Customer Service

Nick joins the team in a position that is new for BrakeQuip. As a true ‘car guy’, Nick will be a natural advocate for our dealers, working with you to get a better understanding of how BrakeQuip can be increasingly relevant to the markets you serve. This will include prioritizing product development, helping with promotions, gathering marketing ideas, and ensuring that all dealers are up-to-date on the BrakeQuip portfolio.

Nick recently graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship & Emerging Enterprises. He enrolled at Syracuse after several years of active duty service with the US Coast Guard, and he remains on active Reserve status.

Nick will work out of BrakeQuip headquarters in Alcoa, TN. He can be reached at 865-268-2825 or by email at [email protected].

Jill Boateng — Assistant Controller

Jill comes to BrakeQuip with over 25 years’ experience in accounting, including implementations of enterprise software applications for accounting and payroll. Jill will work directly with our customers on matters related to their accounts. She will also contribute expertise in corporate reporting and a few enterprise software implementation projects as BrakeQuip moves forward in building a strong company infrastructure to support our growing customer base.

Cameron Sisson — IT / Special Projects

Cameron joined BrakeQuip this summer as the company’s first full-time employee dedicated to automation and technology. He is involved in several IT and website initiatives that will be rolled out for our customers and dealers throughout 2015.
