Maryville, Tenn. – The Blount County Community Action Agency’s Office of Aging (BCCAA) recently added a team member for its new program, SMiles.
In August, Eric Hinkle joined the BCCAA operation as its new transportation manager. Prior to accepting the position, Hinkle served as the regional personnel manager for the US Army Recruiting Company in Knoxville, Tenn. Hinkle comes to BCCAA and the SMiles program with more than 12 years of extensive experience in project and personnel management, training, recruiting and production operations.
Hinkle has managed Army recruitment in an area expanding over 10,000 square miles, coordinated all recruiting efforts of more than 3,500 personnel, maintained government equipment valued in excess of $1.5 million and achieved an increase in education enrollment.
“Eric brings years of leadership experience to the SMiles program,” commented Joani Shaver, Office on Aging Director. “We’re excited to have his contributions to the senior transportation efforts in Blount County.”
