First Tennessee Bank has received top grades in the Phoenix-Hecht 2018 Quality Index™ for Middle Market Banking, which includes businesses with revenues between $20 million and $500 million.
First Tennessee’s summary grades are:
A+ – Product Operations
A+ – Product Satisfaction
A+ – Customer Service
A+ – Technical Support
A+ – Relationship Manager
In addition, more than 98 percent of customers surveyed indicated that they would recommend First Tennessee to a treasury colleague, compared to a study-wide average of 86 percent for all banks. First Tennessee received a “best in class” A+ rating for overall customer service, reflecting excellence in categories that include speed of response and technical support.

The Phoenix-Hecht 2017 Quality Index is based on individual bank quality evaluations gathered in the 2018 Treasury Management Monitor™ survey. This survey of treasury managers from corporations with annual revenues of $20 million or more was conducted from August to November 2017.
