Glenn Shepard Seminars, one of our Chamber members, is providing you an opportunity to take part in a special seminar offered to members of Blount County Chamber of Commerce.  We are pleased that a company of this magnitude has chosen Maryville to host this event.

The speaker is Glenn Shepard. He will present the half-day seminar “How to Supervise People and Lead a Team,” based on one of his books, How to Manage Problem Employees.

The seminar takes place at the Blount County Chamber of Commerce, 201 S. Washington St., Maryville on Friday morning, March 8.

This is where I need your help. I hope you will send at least one of your employees to this event from 8:30 a.m. to noon on March 8. We need a good turnout so we can continue to attract nationally-known speakers to Maryville.

Mr. Shepard will be giving away lots of freebies at the event. He will also be available after the program to answer any questions that you may have.

Your Chamber has worked out quite a deal for you on the tuition. Executives from all across North America paid $1,295 to hear Mr. Shepard speak at the Performance Management Forum at the University of Chicago last year.

You, as a Chamber member, may attend this event in Maryville for only $129. Non-chamber member tuition is $149.

If you are interested in participating in this training opportunity, please complete the registration form and return it to the Chamber no later than March 7.

We hope you will take advantage of this great opportunity. Thank you for your support of Blount County Chamber of Commerce.
