Alcoa, Tenn. — K12, America’s leading provider of high quality online school programs, launched its Family Support Campus at the Tyson Center Building (110 McGhee Tyson Blvd.) in Alcoa with a grand opening ceremony today.
K12 announced in March it was locating in Blount County due to a highly skilled workforce, the community’s support for innovation, growth and the values and culture of the community which include education, religion and industry.
“We are excited about the progress we’ve made at K12’s new Family Support Campus in Alcoa,” said Tim Murray, President and COO of K12 Inc. “In just four months, we have built a tremendous team of skilled employees who are committed to education and who reflect the values of this great community. We are proud to be located in Tennessee and look forward to continuing to invest in this community and help create new jobs and opportunities.”
