Bill Kilgore of Blount Wrecker in Maryville, Tenn., was named the Blount County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year. Ambassador Chair Drew Miles announced the winner at its monthly meeting held Nov. 19.
Chamber Ambassadors assist in retaining members by helping them with their membership benefits. Each ambassador receives points based on visits, phone calls or emails to members, events attended and the recruitment of potential members.
Kilgore was a unanimous selection as he garnered Ambassador of the Month honors the entire year.
