Maryville, TN – Leadership Blount County, a Blount County non-profit leadership enhancement and development organization, recently launched their new website, www.leadershipblount.com. The website offers many new features to help Leadership Blount Alumni, supporters, and class members stay connected.
The new site provides easy navigation for those wanting to donate, nominate a candidate for Leadership Blount, or stay connected with other alumni. Debbie Henry, Executive Director, states, “One of our goals with the new site was to build awareness about the program and what it does for supporters.” Leadership Blount alumni, supporters, and class members can now view photos of the current class (adult and youth), see a calendar of events, and view information about the Youth Leadership Blount program.
Their new content management system helps Leadership Blount keep users up-to-date on the latest and greatest things happening within the organization. In addition, they can now recognize their corporate and individual partners properly. Amanda Gillooly, Associate Executive Director, states, “The new website includes a full list of our current partnerships with logos and names. We have an incredible list of partners in this community, and we want to do our best to recognize them with every opportunity.”
Leadership Blount also highlights their social media outlets. Gillooly states, ”We are trying to increase our exposure in the appropriate social media channels. Currently, the website has links to the Leadership Blount Facebook page, Twitter, and WordPress blog, as well as the Youth Leadership Blount Facebook and Twitter pages.” These features help them stay connected with their supporters and the community.
Gillooly gives credit to Graphic-FX for creating their new website stating, “It is always fun to brainstorm with the Graphic-FX team, and we relied heavily on them for their creative vision and content suggestion. They offered a great deal of support once the site was live. This month, the website was even presented with an Addy Award.”
Leadership Blount looks forward to the many ways their website helps them connect with supporters now and in the future. For more information about Leadership Blount, visit: www.leadership blount.com.
