Peak Restaurants, a restaurant group consisting of 10 McAlister’s Delis in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, was named McAlister’s Deli “Franchisee of the Year” at the National FOCUS Brands Convention this year. “To receive this recognition was incredibly rewarding for everyone associated with our Company. A lot of hard work went into this recognition and we are proud to have achieved it. We are thankful to our guests for helping to make this happen!” said Jeff Shawl, one of the partners in Peak Restaurants LLC. To celebrate the win, the McAlister’s Delis in the group are hosting a Guest Appreciation Week May 16-20. McAlister’s Delis included in this promotion are located in Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Alcoa, Pigeon Forge, Johnson City, and Kingsport in Tennessee, and in Roanoke and Lynchburg, Virginia.

  • MONDAY, May 16 – Public Service Day: 10% off for all Teachers, Police, Fire, Military, First Responders and Hospital Personnel with ID
  • TUESDAY, May 17 – Treat Tuesday: Every guest receives a free cookie with purchase of an entrée.
  • WEDNESDAY, May 18 – Kid’s Day: Kids Eat Free ALL DAY with purchase of an entrée
  • THURSDAY, May 19 – Thirsty Thursday! Get a Free Glass of Tea (32 oz.) (no purchase necessary)
  • FRIDAY, May 20 – Fundraiser Friday: a Portion of Sales all day will be donated to local food banks in each area.

Peak Restaurants had a standout year in 2015, with extraordinary achievements in new restaurant development, food safety, overall guest satisfaction and was a leader in same store sales growth. The group currently owns 10 McAlister’s locations in Tennessee and Virginia, and has plans to expand in their markets this year. Peak Restaurants, was honored February 16 at the 2016 FOCUS Brands Global Franchise Conference, held at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference brings franchisees and managers across the organization together with FOCUS Brands leadership and other industry professionals, to gain a deeper understanding of the food service industry, and to celebrate those who have made an impact within the organization.
