ALCOA, Tenn. – In celebration of America’s birthday this month and the values that the United States was founded upon – life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness – Mary Beth West Communications, LLC (MBWC) is giving back philanthropically in a creative way, by helping people identify their charitable giving style through a free online quiz, then contributing $1,000 to the non-profit organization representing the style that is most selected by participants.

To spotlight public relations’ and digital communications’ impact on noteworthy issues, such as philanthropy and sustainability, MBWC develops an interactive quiz each month that reflects the agency’s chosen theme for that month.

July’s quiz is called “What’s your giving style?” and aims to match those who participate in it with a designated, nationally respected charity.

Not only will those who participate in the quiz determine what giving style they gravitate toward most, but they will also aid in potentially donating to the designated charity matched to their giving style.

The designated charities featured within the interactive quiz are Children’s Miracle Network (the “Children Are Our Future” style), Morris Animal Foundation (the “Man’s Best Friend” style), The Nature Conservancy (the “Go Green” style) and The Wounded Warrior Project (the “Stars and Stripes” style).

MBWC will announce the results of the most-selected giving style and the non-profit recipient of MBWC’s own $1,000 donation on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014. To take the free interactive quiz, go to http://marybethwest.com/what-giver/
