The National Science Foundation (NSF) recently awarded a five-year, $1 million grant to Maryville College to fund the College’s Scots Science Scholars (S3) program.

Teresa Vander Molen has joined Barge Design Solutions, Inc., as a Creative Lead in the firm’s Business Services Group. Vander Molen’s nearly 20 years of marketing and branding experience spans manufacturing, health care, tourism, and higher education sectors, with emphasis on driving awareness and engagement through visual storytelling. Genera, a Tennessee-based company, has selected global B2B agency Ripley PR as its PR agency of record to promote awareness of Genera’s Earthable® line of sustainable agricultural fiber products. Genera recently announced that it had secured more than $118 million in new investment for its first manufacturing facility, which will produce the company’s Earthable® brand.
