Maryville, Tenn. – As part of the marketing efforts by the Smoky Mountain Tourism Development Authority, the Blount Partnership is sponsoring the opening keynote address by Joel Manby, President/CEO of Herschend Family Entertainment at the Southeast Tourism Society’s Spring Symposium in Atlanta, March 18-20.
Maryville, Tenn. – The Blount Partnership, Knox County, Innovation Valley, Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam and Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty along with officials from ProNova Solutions, today announced the company has agreed to become the anchor tenant at the Pellissippi Place technology research and development park on the Oak Ridge Corridor located at the end of the Pellissippi Parkway in Alcoa, Tenn.
The Community Law School is a public education program sponsored by the Knoxville Bar Association that offers free seminars on areas of the law that concern every citizen. This program, formerly known as the “People’s Law School”, has been a great success, with over 5,000 graduates over the last seventeen years. Both sessions of the Community Law School will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the O’Connor Senior Center (611 Winona Street).

BRISTOL, Tenn. – For Knoxville area nursing students who only need to complete their clinical studies to receive their nursing degree, there is a new option. Beginning fall 2013, King University will offer a four-semester clinically ready Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at the schools Hardin Valley location in Knoxville.
