The Board of Directors of CBBC Bank and Twin Cities Financial Services, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mike Baker has been promoted to President of CBBC Bank and TCFS, Inc. effective September 30, 2016. Baker previously served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer.
Gaynell Lawson, who has been with CBBC Bank since 1973, will continue in the Senior Executive position as CEO and Director of the bank and holding company. She will focus on overall strategy, marketing and customer service. Lawson states “I know Mike will do an excellent job as President of the bank. He will continue the CBBC Bank mission of being a LOCAL bank that recognizes the importance of being good citizens in the communities we call home.”
Mike and his wife, Cindy, are native East Tennesseans and are actively involved in the community. He has served on a number of local Boards, including the Blount County Chamber, United Way, Blount Memorial Hospital Foundation, Maryville City Schools Foundation and the City of Alcoa Industrial Board. He holds a degree in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Tennessee. Mike has spent 18 of his 35 year banking career in Blount County as a senior executive.
