Newell Rubbermaid’s Maryville, Tenn., center of excellence for manufacturing has received the company’s CEO Safety Excellence Award for the first time in recognition of strong management commitment and employee involvement in efforts to prevent injuries.

The Maryville, Tenn. facility manufactures and packages products from some of Newell Rubbermaid’s iconic writing brands including Sharpie® markers and highlighters, Paper Mate® Sharpwriter pencils, Expo® dry erase markers and Prismacolor® art markers.
