Knoxville, TN – For the first time ever, work places are home to employees who were born before 1945 alongside workers who were born as late as 2001. The crossroads of four generations in the workforce is a place for conflict that wastes both talent and energy. At the November 9th Women’s Leadership Salon, Dr. Laura Barron addresses the impact of these conflicts on organizations and people.
According to Barron, “For managers, employees, customers and suppliers to interact effectively and produce the various results they each want, they each must understand where the other generations are coming from. What is driving each generation and what are their needs and desires?”
Salon participants will explore each generation’s strengths, values, and beliefs and examine what was happening as the generations grew up. Dr. Barron’s presentation will help participants identify opportunities for each generation to succeed and value each other. Come discover ways to tap the potential of every generation and to bridge the gaps.
Laura Barron energizes, informs and mobilizes people to create long-term positive solutions.
