Attention, Audio Lovers! Blount County Public Library has a new product that may interest you! It is called OneClickdigital, and it can be accessed from the home page on the library’s website at www.blountlibrary.org. All you need is a Blount County Public Library card—in good standing—to set up an account.
The site features more than 25,000 audiobooks and some e-books which can be downloaded to devices. OneClickdigital offers fast content transfers and wireless download as well as free patron support. Mobile apps are available for iPad, iPhone, Android and Kindle Fire.
One enthusiastic patron commented, “I love using OneClickdigital audiobooks on my smart phone so that I can listen to the books while I’m commuting back and forth to work each day.”
The Search features are easy and fast. For example, the quick search can be by title, author, narrator or target audience (adult, beginning reader, children or young adult).
The Browse feature lists multiple genres: arts & entertainment, biography, comics and graphic novels, fantasy, general fiction, historical fiction, history, juvenile fiction and nonfiction, language, politics and current events, religion, romance, sci-fi, self-help, and more.
The Help section promises a support response within 24-48 hours by toll free phone or by email.
Many users have found that OneClickdigital usually works best if it’s downloaded to a PC first and then, from there, the app can be loaded to a mobile device.
Free and open to the public, the program is sponsored by the Blount County Public Library, located at 508 N. Cusick Street, Maryville.
