A new documentary exploring the unique assets of the East Tennessee area and the challenges faced by communities and their residents will be debuted next week. “Tell Our Story: Our Legacy Matters” is presented by PlanET and produced by Academy and Emmy Award winning production company Milkhaus. 
 
The short film will be premiered on Friday, October 25, 2013. The event begins at 5:15 p.m. at the Square Room (Café 4) on Market Square in Downtown Knoxville. The public are invited for a one-night screening, a celebration of our region, and a discussion about how we can work together to make our region stronger in the years ahead.
 
In the face of a changing economy, pollution concerns, higher rates of health problems, and rising housing and transportation costs, this documentary challenges us to work together to rethink the region and come together to tackle these shared problems. Our willingness to address tough issues together will determine if we are able to grow, innovate, prosper in ways that will ensure that we leave our children a livable, beautiful, and welcoming region.
