Apple Valley Country Stores are providing a safe, fun place for area children to celebrate Halloween while also giving a portion of the day’s sales to benefit Townsend Elementary School.

During “Halloween Give Back Day,” Apple Valley’s parking lot will be populated by little humans dressed up like Star Wars characters, Optimus Prime from Transformers, along with a pack of Batmans, pirates, princesses, and more.

All Day on Monday, October 31st, 10% of all sales in the Main Store and Café will benefit Townsend Elementary. Customers can also give back by purchasing an Apple Valley Gift Box online that day with the same 10% going to this great cause. Visit http://www.applevalleycountrystore.com/corporate-gift-boxes/ to see the collection of Gift Boxes, which make great presents for special occasions including the upcoming holidays.

“Halloween Give Back Day” festivities include a Halloween menu at the Apple Valley Café, creepy/crawly Touch ‘n Feel boxes for little ones at the Main Store, a Monster Music mix and complimentary Witch’s Brew (Apple Cider). Plus, it wouldn’t be Apple Valley without Bobbing for Apples (for prizes), and guests will find special Boo Berry and Pumpkin-flavored Fudge available for purchase in the Main Store.

“We look forward to seeing the Townsend community turn out on Halloween for a celebration of the fall and spook-tastic fun for the whole family,” said Apple Valley Owners Mark and Sharon Oldham. “Children are the future, and we are happy to give back to help Townsend’s kids enjoy a better learning experience.”

They planned the event to give the community a safe, easily accessible place to gather for fun. An assortment of fresh fudge and bakery items including Apple Valley’s World Famous Fried Apple Pies will be available, along with fresh, locally roasted coffee and delicious foods from the Apple Valley Café.

Those attending are also encouraged to pose their little costumed ones in front of Apple Valley Country Stores’ annual Fall Display on the lawn next to their parking lot: A colorful autumn setup with twin bears watching over a collection of pumpkins. Those posting a public photo of the display on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with the hashtag #applevalleyTN2016 in their post will have a chance to win a $75 Gift Card to shop at Apple Valley Country Stores. The winner will be chosen Nov. 13th.

Make plans now to celebrate Halloween with your family at Apple Valley Country Stores and contribute through your purchases to benefit the Tiger staff and students at Townsend Elementary.
