MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Sip, savor, shop, support and enjoy as the Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee announces its first Wine Women & Shoes event and fundraiser. Presented by Medi-Spa and CoolSculpting, Wine Women & Shoes promotes sipping wine, female camaraderie and supporting Second Harvest’s mission to end hunger in East Tennessee. The event will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at The Standard in Knoxville.
Knoxville’s most fashion-forward and wine-loving women will dress to the nines. These ladies will sip fine wines from eight California wineries, shop the latest trends in the designer marketplace, watch a fabulous fashion show with this season’s hottest styles with Janice Ann’s Fashions and Sole in the City and be charmed by Billy Lush Brand’s 27 “Shoe Guys”. These “Shoe Guys” will be helping women pair shoes and accessories with wine for today’s best style combinations.
In the fashion show and designer marketplace, Marc Nelson Denim will be selling jeans exclusively designed for this event. These one-of-a-kind jeans will be sold for $125—half price from their retail value. Dillard’s Shoes will also be at the designer marketplace with this season’s most fabulous shoes available for purchase. While at the event, women will also have the opportunity to browse and enjoy Land Rover Knoxville’s full line of luxury vehicles, where Land Rover is always “stretching the limit of luxury”.
Executive Director Elaine Streno said, “It is inspiring to see so many people and organizations show their support for those that are at risk of hunger in East Tennessee by their excitement for this amazing event full of fashion and friendship.”
Second Harvest thanks all its partners and sponsors and extends a thank you to Knoxville Magazine for its support of this inaugural event.
