Maryville, TN – Smith Life & Legacy launches their newly redesigned logo and graphics to the community. The goal of the new design work is to communicate that all six of their companies are integrated by one purpose – to honor life and legacy.
The logo, created by Graphic-FX in Maryville, demonstrates the solidarity of the company. It incorporates an infinity sign that represents the timelessness of their calling to serve others, and a modernized “S” that speaks to the reliable care for which the Smith brand is known. The goals of the new graphics were to modernize the Smith brand, convey a message of infinite trustworthiness and the perpetuity of life, and extend an element of sacredness and class.
The new design also utilizes the signature of the founder, Leonard L. Smith. Managing Partner, C. Lynn Gibson says, “We know that Mr. Smith, or ‘Pop’ as we called him, would have been thrilled with how his ideas of caring for families has blossomed into what is now Smith Life & Legacy. In using Pop’s signature, we bear witness to his deep-seated belief that every life matters.”
The Smith Life & Legacy brand has expanded over the last 50 years to meet the growing needs of the community. According to Managing Partner, C. Lynn Gibson, “The deepest form of “undertaking” is to help people as they encounter life’s significance and meaning through all types of important events, including birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, graduations, and memorials.” He continues, “We want our Visual Voice® to bear witness to the fact that life stories truly matter and need telling and re-telling.”
Gibson was pleased with the unique Visual Voice crafted by Graphic-FX. Visual Voice refers to the proprietary process of identifying and visually expressing a client’s uniqueness, value, and core message.
