Tennessee’s state-wide theatre organization will hold its annual conference October 22nd- 25th at the Clayton Center for the Arts in Maryville.
The Tennessee Theatre Association, founded in 1968, provides hundreds of opportunities for theatre artists and theatre lovers to see high school and community theatre productions, participate in workshops, attend master classes, network, and socialize.
Our guest artist this year is Cherry Jones, a five-time Tony Award nominee (most recently in 2014’s revival of The Glass Menagerie). Ms. Jones has won two Tony awards (Best Actress for The Heiress and Doubt), three Drama Desk awards and an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as President Taylor on Fox’s hit television action drama 24. She was recently inducted into the American Theatre Hall of Fame.
