Toyota Tsusho has donated $1,000 to local nonprofit CASA of the Tennessee Heartland.
Mr. Yoshiyuki Murai, Vice President / Branch Manager of the Maryville/Alcoa location of Toyota Tsusho, presented a check to Edward Harrison, Executive Director, Brandin-Lea Stevens, Operations Director, and Tiffany White, Blount County Advocate/Development Coordinator, of CASA TNH on Tuesday afternoon. Members of the Donations Committee were also in attendance.
“We are so fortunate to have the support of Toyota Tsusho here in Blount County,” says Advocate Coordinator Tiffany White. “Without them, we could not hope to fulfill our vision to provide a Court Appointed Special Advocate to every abused and neglected child who needs one.” Executive Director Edward Harrison stated, “This donation will be utilized for our new advocate training class in Blount County which begins September 1st. Our goal is to train new advocates twice yearly and donations like these make that possible.”
