The Downtown Maryville Association announces few tickets left for their annual “Maryville Uncorked” Wine Tasting & Silent Auction to be held on Thursday, October 15 at Vienna Coffeehouse from 6pm to 9pm. The much anticipated event will feature Cindi Alpert and The Corduroy Jazz Trio, heavy hors devours from local restaurant sponsors, a diverse assortment of wines and the introduction of selections from local wineries. Tickets are available at Vienna Coffee Company and on the DMA website till sell out (downtownmaryville.com). The tickets are $35 prior to the event and $45 at the door.
As in previous years, one highlight of the evening will be the Wine Grab in which participants donate $20, for which they choose a gift wrapped bottle of wine. Every bottle retails for at least the donation amount, but there are five coveted bottles of wine of a much higher value. The unveiling is done after the close of the event at 8pm. and everyone goes home a winner!
There will be a Silent Auction featuring a Golf Package, local pet spa gift certificate, 2 KSO tickets, a hand carved table by local artist, a cozy sitting room vignette, including two small tables, two pillows, and a matching vase from Roost Home, a “No Excuses” Day Hike Kit from Little River Trading Company, valued at $147, an exceptional matching necklace / earing set from Boutique on Broadway with a $20 gift certificate, a framed print by artist Ken Jenkins, an autographed set of 3 CDs by Doc Severinsen and much, much more.
Working closely with the City of Maryville, local business owners and interested citizens the Downtown Maryville Association has been proud to promote and preserve historic downtown Maryville for the benefit of all who live in and visit Blount County.
