UT Federal Credit Union (UTFCU) is strengthening its leadership structure to support the credit union’s continued growth and commitment to its members, including the appointment of Brad Sexton as Chief Technology & Information Officer and the expansion of several key leadership roles across the organization.
Effective September 1, Sexton will lead UTFCU’s technology strategy, including systems and infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, and technology delivery. He brings two decades of experience in technology leadership, large-scale digital transformation, infrastructure management, and the development of secure, agile IT environments across government, higher education, hospitality, and retail.
“Technology touches virtually every aspect of how we serve our members, and Brad brings the leadership and perspective we need to continue building for the future,” said Kenyon Warren, CEO of UT Federal Credit Union. “As UTFCU grows and our members’ expectations evolve, we’re aligning our strategy around the experiences, security, and support they count on from us.”
Sexton’s appointment comes as UTFCU enters its next chapter of growth and evolves its leadership structure to more closely align key areas of the organization with its long-term strategy.
As UTFCU looks to the future, the credit union has expanded and elevated leadership roles across several key areas, recognizing both the growing strategic importance of these functions and the strength of talent within the organization:
Hanna Gomez, Chief Marketing & Growth Officer
Anne Hewitt, Chief Retail & Member Experience Officer
Brad Sexton, Chief Technology & Information Officer
Michael Jones, Chief Risk & Governance Officer
Alison Coffey, AVP, Director of Enterprise Implementation
Rachel Askew, AVP, Director of Digital Operations
Together, the leadership changes strengthen focus across growth, member engagement, technology, risk and governance, enterprise implementation, and digital operations—areas that are increasingly central to delivering a seamless, secure, and relevant member experience.
“These changes are about being intentional about the organization we want to be tomorrow, not simply responding to change today,” Warren said. “We have exceptional talent within UTFCU, and these expanded roles allow us to put that expertise where it can have the greatest impact for our members and our long-term success.”
