Officials of Well-Key Health of Tennessee, based in Sevierville, Tenn., celebrated the grand opening of another urgent care and occupational health facility in the East Tennessee region. President and CEO Dr. Michael Rothwell and Chief Medical Officer/Medical Director Dr. Robin A. Huskey, co-founders of Well-Key Health are expanding their company to the Blount County are and have joined the Blount County Chamber of Commerce. The physicians held a ribbon cutting and grand opening event today with the Blount County Chamber. The event included tours of the newly renovated facility located at 108 Keller Lane in Maryville. Well-Key is also hosting another open house for the public on Friday, July 21, that allows the public to tour prior to opening to patients.
“Dr. Huskey and I along with our team are proud and excited to expand our comprehensive urgent care and occupational health services to Blount County,” said Dr. Rothwell. “We also look forward to continuing our mission of providing outstanding healthcare, excellent customer service, and community involvement that has been our hallmark since 2010.”
The Urgent Care services include caring for acute injuries, common illnesses or minor medical problems — bridging the gap between the primary care provider and the emergency room. The remodeled building was formerly a restaurant but is now a state-of-the-art medical facility with full lab and digital X-ray diagnostic capabilities.
One of the unique features Well-Key offers is all locations are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week except Christmas and Thanksgiving and have a licensed provider on-site at all times. Services offered on a walk-in basis also include laceration repair, x-ray services and splinting of fractures, lab services, sports physicals and a variety of occupational health services. Well-Kay offers employers comprehensive but an efficient scope of services that include workers’ comp. injury and illness care, employment and fitness physicals, all types of testing/screening — drug and alcohol, etc., influenza, hepatitis and other vaccinations.
