On Oct. 2, 2018 Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee staff members and volunteers will operate a Mobile Pantry for Blount County residents who are in need of food. Typically, Mobile Pantries are operated by a partner agency of the food bank, but this Mobile Pantry will be solely operated by Second Harvest Food Bank staff and volunteers.

The Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority’s (MKAA) Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to hire Patrick Wilson, A.A.E., as president effective mid-November 2018. Wilson will replace William F. “Bill” Marrison, who is retiring on December 31, 2018, after 36 years of service to the organization and the traveling public of East Tennessee.
