King to Offer Four-semester Traditional Nursing Degree in Knoxville
BRISTOL, Tenn. – For Knoxville area nursing students who only need to complete their clinical studies to receive their nursing degree, there is a new option. Beginning fall 2013, King University will offer a four-semester clinically ready Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at the schools Hardin Valley location in Knoxville.
National College of Business & Technology Appoints Dumas Director of Knoxville Campus
KNOXVILLE, TN – National College of Business & Technology (www.national-college.edu) has named Orlando Dumas, previously of Atlanta, Georgia, as director of the Knoxville Campus. As campus director, Dumas will serve as the college’s chief academic and administrative officer, as well as National College’s principal representative in the local community.

Clayton Center executive director announces his retirement
After serving as executive director of the Clayton Center for the Arts since 2008, Robert Hutchens announced Tuesday that he will be retiring at the end of this fiscal year, May 31, 2013. Hutchens has agreed, however, to aid in the transition to new leadership by serving as executive director emeritus.
King Announces Student Fee Structure for 2013-14; No Increase from Prior Year
BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University announces tuition and fees will see no increase for the 2013-2014 academic year. An awareness that affordability is of increasing concern for students and parents led King to initiate research about how the 146-year-old institution could develop a fee structure that allows students an affordable option to maximize financial aid and decrease post-grad debt. The results of the initiative include both the zero percent tuition and fee increase for all students and a more robust academic merit scholarship program for incoming freshmen and transfer students.
